Red pineapples (ananas bracteatus) available NOW, very cold-hardy and produce fruits in New Zealand.
On 26th July 2010 I ate my first home-grown Red pineapple fruit & it tasted very good.
People who tasted the pieces of Red pineapple were impressed. I grew it outdoor.
