This 1988 silver proof coin was part of Pitcairn Island's first ever coinage, marking the 150th anniversary of drafting the island's constitution
The reverse design is a representation of HMS Fly, the vessel upon which the constitution was drafted
This excellent coin is 5oz of .999 pure silver with a diameter of 65mm and comes in the original presentation case
With a worldwide mintage of 10000, only 70 of these silver coins were allocated to New Zealand
