This orange fibreglass Coolie Chair was made by the original designer of the Coolie Chair himself
This chair (suitable for both inside and out) is still in very good condition (some colour has worn off around the front edges), has never been used outside and has grey rubber tips on the metal legs
The Coolie Chair was a popular Kiwi design in the 60s (they were seen outside most motels for example) and one has even been exhibited at Te Papa
