If you deactivate your membership all your active listings will be withdrawn, however your member name will be retained should you wish to rejoin happysheep in the future.
It's okay to have more than one membership on happysheep.
If you'd like to change your member name please contact us and tell us what your current member name is and what you'd like it changed to (subject to availability).
To ensure that listings on happysheep get plenty of page views and responses, listings are divided up according to New Zealand's five largest cities.
As happysheep grows, we'll be adding more cities and towns. In the meantime, select the city that's closest to you, and enter your city or town into the "suburb" field when placing a listing.
You can edit your listings quickly and easily from active listings. You can edit all aspects of your listing except for the category.
Place a listing here or by clicking the yellow "place a free listing" button at the top of every page. It's free to place a listing, however you need to join first.
You can renew your listing so that it runs for a further 30 days from expired listings. Expired listings that are not renewed within 90 days are automatically deleted.
You can withdraw listings quickly and easily from active listings. Once a listing has been withdrawn, it will no longer be displayed on happysheep and email replies will no longer be forwarded to your email address.
To protect you against spam, a temporary email address (e.g. listing-2343@happysheep.co.nz) is displayed on your listing in place of your real email address. Email messages sent to your temporary email address are automatically forwarded to your real email address.
Listings automatically expire after 30 days. Expired listings can be renewed up to 90 days after they've expired. Listings older than 90 days are permanently deleted.
If your picture wont upload please check that it's either in JPG or GIF format and that it's less than 2 MB in file size. If you're still having trouble please contact us for further assistance.
To add a listing to your Watchlist click the "add to watchlist" link at the top of every listing. Add items to your Watchlist for easy and convenient access at a later date.
If you've found a listing that you think is inappropriate or beaches our listing guidelines please report it using the "report this listing" link at the top of every listing. Reported listings are reviewed by promptly and removed where appropriate.
To protect advertisers from spam you must be signed in to happysheep to view contact details.
You cannot view contact details for expired listings.
You can add any sub category as a favourite by clicking the "add as favourite category" link at the top of every sub category. Adding a favourite category gives you quick and convenient access to the category from your favourites as well as the option to receive daily email alerts when new listings are added.
To unsubscribe from favourite category email alerts click the unsubcribe link included in every email or click "stop sending me new listings" in favourites.
You can only add sub categories as favourite categories. For example you can add "Events & Gigs > Sports & Outdoors" as a favourite category, but you cant add "Events & Gigs".
You must view a favourite category at least once every 30 days to continue to receive email alerts. If you've been automatically unsubscribed you can continue receiving email alerts by clicking "email me new listings" in favourites.
Do not include personally identifiable information in your listing and always meet people in a place where there are lots of people.
