Protecting you from spammers

From today onwards you must sign in to happysheep to contact advertisers.

This change was made to prevent spammers from crawling happysheep listings and sending you unsolicited email.

When building happysheep it was important to us that we made it as easy as possible to contact advertisers. Requiring you to join and sign in was not a decision that we came to lightly, and is a decision that could be reversed in the future as we develop new systems to protect you from spam.

New: view counts

We now publicly display the number of times a listing has been viewed on the listing page. This gives you a feel for the types of listings that attract the greatest number of views!

Previously views were only displayed to the owner of the listing.

Download banners and buttons for your web site or blog

Today we made available banners and buttons that can be used to promote happysheep on your web site or blog.

There's a range of sizes and messages to choose from, and we'll be adding new designs in the next couple of days.

Network bar added

Today we added a network bar to the top of happysheep, with links through to Zillion and nzflatmates.

In return, both Zillion and nzflatmates will add happysheep to their network bar, with the aim of growing traffic, membership and listings across all three sites.

New: Best of happysheep

Today we added best of happysheep to make it easy to find the best listings on the site, as nominated by you!

To nominate a listing that made you smile, just click "nominate for best of" at the top of the listing page.
